Our bulb planting and Christmas craft event was well attended on good fun! As our project is now fully funded we hope to be holding community events with donations for on going expenses.
On 11 April 2026 we held a Plant and Swap to coincide with the Skye Garden Club event at Minginish Hall. This was well attended with over 30 folk dropping in, playing in the sandpit, planting and blethering. We collected post-it ideas for how to progress our community garden project.
The GRAND OPENING was held on 6 June 2026 (see separate page) to coincide with National volunteers week. It was well attended by the community with home baking, refreshments and tunes by the Stravaigers (local band).
During the summer we have been busy developing the outside areas, harvesting produce and planning!
Several community members now hold PVG's enabling them to hold events for children and vulnerable adults. we are planning an activity event on 5 September - details to follow.
